Who is behind Barz

Barz, the barz.cc website and the Barz account service are developed and operated by PrivacyPortal (privacyportal.co.uk). PrivacyPortal is the business you deal with when you create an account, start a trial or buy a membership, and it is responsible for this website and the Barz software.

Payments and your statement

Payments are processed by Stripe on behalf of PrivacyPortal. Card details are entered on Stripe’s secure checkout and are never stored by Barz. Receipts, invoices and your card statement show PrivacyPortal rather than Barz, so a PrivacyPortal charge for £4.99, £49.95 or £79.99 is your Barz membership. Trials take no payment until you approve a plan, and prepaid three-year access is a single payment with no automatic renewal.

Support and your rights

Questions about a payment, a trial or your account go to welcome@barz.cc, which reaches the PrivacyPortal team directly. Memberships can be cancelled from your account at any time and remain active until the end of the paid period. Nothing on this page limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

Third parties and content

Barz is independent software. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Image-Line (FL Studio), YouTube, SoundCloud or BeatStars; those names and logos belong to their owners. Barz loads the beats you choose from those services. Finding or downloading a beat does not grant you a licence to release music made with it; check the producer’s terms. BPM and key estimates are approximate and should be confirmed against the producer’s information.

Software notice

The Windows installer is currently unsigned, so Windows may show a SmartScreen warning the first time you run it. Barz needs an internet connection to verify access. To the extent permitted by law, Barz is provided as is; PrivacyPortal keeps improving it but does not promise that it will suit every workflow or run without interruption.
